Minecraft-Server Rules (EN)

General

The main-server, the test-servers ‘Nature’, ‘Flat’ and ‘Space’, as well as the wiki-server are the key components of RedstoneWorld. These rules serve the purpose of the main rules. WarTech-project or the survival-server please note the respective additional rules.

adress: server.redstoneworld.de
needed programm: bought game ‘Minecraft’ (Java Edition)

How to accept the rules

At the first sign in you will have the standard rank ‘Besucher’ (= Guest) with very restricted rights. With the command /warp rules you get teleported directly to a list of the server rules. The rules are the same as those listed here. In the same area is a sign for accepting the rules. Make sure, that you read and understood every point before granting your approval with a right-click. By accepting the rules you get the ‘Mitglied’ (= Member) rank, with which you now have all rights that are required for playing on the server. Our team are able to help you with any questions about the rules. Have fun!

Rule 1 - General / Donation

The use of RedstoneWorld's online services is free of charge. The VIP and Premium ranks are compliant with Mojang's EULA. The VIP rank is available from a total donation of €5.00 from the player and the Premium rank from €40.00. The player keeps the rank for life. If you are interested, please contact the owner ‘RedstoneFuture’ directly! Ranks / rights which were obtained by donations are bound to your Minecraft account and can only be transferred to another account at the discretion of the administration. All other transactions with real money or even business fraud are strictly prohibited and can be reported to the police.

Rule 2 - Accounts

The use of one account by several people or the use of several accounts by one person is strictly prohibited. Minecraft usernames that resemble a prominent person or a team member are to be avoided! Any kind of impersonation of an account or person, as well as any kind of impersonation of identity theft, is prohibited. Please avoid names that can be seen as a test account or bot of RedstoneWorld. We reserve the right to ban players until the name is changed.

Rule 3 - Content

Minecraft names, skins, chat posts, links, buildings and labelling with sexist, discriminatory, racist, violence-glorifying, offensive, pornographic or illegal content, as well as the dissemination of false information, is prohibited. On the main server, the owner of a plot (= property) is primarily responsible for the plot content. Constructions by other plot members that violate the rules must be removed and those responsible must be reported to the server team if necessary.

Rule 4 - Behavior

Behave respectfully and tolerantly towards others! Harassment and threats are prohibited.

Rule 5 - Chat

No spam - neither in the chat, via private message (/msg) nor in any other way! Continuous writing in CAPITAL-LETTERS (‘caps lock’) or longer bold letters is not only considered unpleasant, but is usually interpreted as aggressive shouting and should therefore also be avoided. The chat is only visible on one server. To write across networks, start the message with an exclamation mark or use the command /global.

Rule 6 - Advertisement

Advertising for other services (Minecraft servers, livestreams, YouTube channels, Ts3 servers, Discord servers ...) is strictly prohibited! No advertising on other services — without their consent — for us! If someone specifically asks for the address of a certain service about ‘Redstone’ related content, it may be shared as a private message via /msg on RedstoneWorld. Otherwise the server team must give its consent.

Rule 7 - Griefing / Hacks

Several security systems have been set up on the server to protect the worlds. The plotworlds with their plots offer an opportunity to be creative. The server team is not necessarily responsible for restorations, guilt searches or criminal proceedings in the event of griefing by added plot users! There is no build protection on the test servers. Mutual consideration and attentiveness are required here. The use of hack mods or hack clients is strictly prohibited.

Rule 8 - Server-Capacity

Intentional overload of the root server performance or other player clients is prohibited. Carefulness and consideration are also required here. No important data is lost if the server crashes. The TPS can be checked with /tps and the ping with /ping (see: /help lag). Resource heavy tests should be carried out on the test servers and should not be unreasonable. The server team is responsible for the assessment. (Ideally, the server team and the players on the respective test server should be consulted beforehand). Any crashes caused by you must be reported immediately, including an explanation.

Rule 9 - Copyright

Buildings (including schematics) are generally subject to the German Copyright Law and the Mojang EULA (Section ‘Content’). Plot owners are granted the rights to use, reproduce, edit and distribute all compliant buildings on their plot. We reserve the right (except within the WarTech worlds) to produce visual and audio recordings of the plot content and to adopt concepts for redstone constructions and mechanisms with the purpose of collecting redstone circuits on the main world. If exhibited, the inventor / builder or otherwise the name of the plot owner will be mentioned. The original remains unchanged. Circuits from the exhibitions / parks of the main world can be copied and may be used and edited. In all other cases (other people's circuits etc.) the author must be asked about the respective right of use. As a general rule, you should always at least mention the creator by name. Circuits for the ‘Mitglied+’ (= Member+) request must be developed by yourself.

Rule 10 - AFK

If you are not playing and are absent (‘AFK’) for a longer period of time, you should go offline. However, this is not mandatory. If you do not move or write anything for five minutes, you will automatically be marked as ‘absent’ by the server. You can also use the /afk command to manually set your status to AFK. This will be saved until you move again or leave the server. If you are AFK, you will be crossed out in the tab list.

Rule 11 - Ranks

If you would like to join the team or help in any other way, please send your application by e-mail to kontakt@redstoneworld.de! Do not ask for ‘Operator’ or additional rights! An application is only possible with the rank ‘Mitglied’ (= Member) or higher! Use the command /warp ranks to access an information board on the server with information about the existing ranks.

Rule 12 - Support / Reports

You can use our support free of charge, e.g. on the server and in TeamSpeak. Or send us an e-mail to kontakt@redstoneworld.de. You can request further information about our contact options with the command /help. If you are not satisfied with something, please contact the server team directly!

Rule 13 - Privacy

By accepting our rules, you also accept our privacy policy based on the European ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR). On the Minecraft servers of RedstoneWorld we collect:

  1. the Internet Protocol addresses (IP addresses),
  2. the Minecraft usernames used on the server,
  3. the Mojang UUID, and
  4. the date and time of access to the server.

The RedstoneWorld team will not pass on IP addresses or home addresses that can be determined from them without the express consent of the person concerned. For details, see section 4 of our privacy policy (available in German only) at redstoneworld.de/datenschutzerklaerung. Be careful with your personal data. The team will never ask you for any login credentials!

Rule 14 - Instructions

Follow the instructions of the team members — especially from Supporters, Admins, and the Owner.

Rule 15 - Validity

Team members have the right to take action against your behavior if you break the rules. We reserve the right to make changes to these rules at any time and without prior notice. Rule changes will be documented here under these rules. You will not be banned for reasons of sympathy! You can send an unban request to kontakt@redstoneworld.de.
